    5) Thomas- Edison(scientist)- 

Early bout with scarlet fever and ear infections left Edison with hearing difficulties and nearly deaf as an adult, a hyperactive child, prone to distraction,  in 1868 his family was almost in destitute, Failed 1,000 times before invention of a bulb, held over 1,093 patents for his inventions, founded General Electric corporation, rivalry with Nikola Tesla, also perfected the phonograph and developed the motion picture camera and the alkaline storage battery, fried an elephant by electricity(worse thing), become the first person to project a motion picture, holding the world’s first motion picture.

One of the world’s wealthiest people and the most influential philanthropists of our times, in his early years, he would go from door to door selling candies and soft-drinks, began investing as a teenager and had saved almost $10,000 by the age of 20, he attended Columbia Business School and earned a Master of Science in economics in 1951, where he had the privilege of attending classes taught by Benjamin Graham and David Dodd.
